IMHO, all companies producing products used in the building construction industry will eventually have an interest in supporting BIM (Buidling Information Modeling). Another idea was proposed for exporting from Creo Parametric however Creo View is not mentioned. Perhaps the IFC file doesn't require the high fidelity model exported from Creo Parametric? Thingworx Studio uses a lightweight (low fidelity) model created with Creo View technology. I would like to see Creo View supporting the IFC export for low fidelity models.
