We and our customers are using Windchill Service Information Manager/Arbortext Publishing Engine to publish so-called intelligent graphics (PVZ for example).
The publishing process will create an HTML-file with the graphics in it (linked, of course). Howver, this can only be viewed at the moment on a PC, because:
The support of intelligent graphics requires an activex-plugin (CreoView Express), which can only be used on a PC with IE/Firefox/Chrome. So we're stuck here, since we and our customers have no chance to use those great features on a tablet, Android, iOS-device, etc.
We would require either
platform neutral plugin, which works on all devices, all OS's and all browsers
or
html5 compatible creo view format, which can be viewed in any HTML5 compatible browser.
