Creo View Adapter for JT right now supports only annotations visibility & orientation in a JT Part Capture (View State). It does not support conversion of

  • Cross Section
  • Explode
  • Pan-Zoon (View Port)

We need this ability to continue to expand our business usage of Creo View in a unified Windchill environment without requiring Siemens software (VisMockup).

Among the three items, 'Explode' is absolutely necessary.

Currently, Exploded View information in the JT file is ignored, so it cannot be used.

Loading JT file received from German OEM in Creo View MCAD. Result:
- No PMI's visible
- No weld points, RPS points, measuring points visible (geometry)
- No material transition (geometry)
- No bonding (geometry)

 

Notice: PMIs not visible in examples of other OEMs as well

Solution to exchange JT data with OEMs urgently needed!
