Diagram Assemblies

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.
Electrical Systems Engineer for Off Highway Machinery

2. What product and version are you currently running?
Schematics 3 & 4

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
Building full machine schematic from sub-section schematics

4. What is the use case for your organization?
Our products may have multiple options, each with it's own schematic, or one sub-section schematic may apply to several products. Need a way to assemble all sub sections schematics into one file and link schematics to one another.

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
With CID to WID, designs containing only CIDs for entire product or product line can be assembled with multiple section schematics in order to keep CIDs linked to WIDs without having to use import and export all the time to make changes.
