Embed the features of PTC Creo View Design Check directly in a apps of Creo

Instead of perform design check outside the .prt or .asm, it could be good to have an apps that have the same features of PTC Creo View Design Check.

With this embedded direly inside the creo model, the designer could have access to the review without opening creo view. And make the update in line with the request.

It could be just to have an apps that open the model in a geometric simplification mode and have annotation and measurement possible.

Or the comments placed on the Creo View files could be presented back in the Creo Parametric UI

I'm just wondering if you've tried adding parameters to the annotation elements such as 'CHK_BY', 'CHK_NOTE', 'CHECK_RESULT' and then you could at least record the inspection of an annotation element in a MBD way inside of Creo Parametric through the Annotation Feature Edit Definition Dialog box.

If the API's to access Annotation Features were free to play with, this is one of those things I could imagine the userbase writing themselves. I notice a lot of product ideas that would take only a few hours to implement via the API's, it seems such a shame we can't just tweak it ourselves to be honest.

Would ou mean that we could propagate design checks results back from Creo View in Creo Param by using the API ? That sounds a reasonable workaround, but for us it should come as an OOTB default  capability when using Creo Param, Creo View and Windchill together.
