Enable "Fly Mode" control with 3Dconnexion devices (spaceball)

Enable "Fly Mode" control with 3Dconnexion devices (spaceball)

We just updated from Creo View 1.0 to Creo View 2.0, and I am very annoyed this feature has not been included in the new version.  I submitted an enhancement request one year ago (on the old system), with a drawn out explination as to why this is important.

This is crazy. Creo View already supports "Fly mode" with the mouse.  It already supports 3Dconnexion spaceball control in the ordinary view modes, with a defined rotation point.  Why can we not use these together?!

This is very important for Creo View to be usable.  We must be able to have twisting the spaceball control the camera view in perspective mode (i.e. turning head) rather than spinning the model about a point, which may be offscreen.  Likewise, in this mode pushing and pulling on the spaceball should move the camera, rather than the model (i.e. zoom & pan directions reversed from normal mode).

Having a similar "fly" option in Creo Parametric when in perspective view would also be nice, but having this in Creo View is critical.
