Hatching on Creo View

Hatching on Creo View

Currently Creo view is unable to display hatch of a 3D model.

On my opinion Creo View should display hatching on a section or on a datum target for example. This is something widely used on the industry and really important for the Model Based Design definition.

Upvoted -- and please add the ability to fill sections that are created in Creo View with hatch patterns (particularly vector hatch patterns), in order to create high-quality section drawings from Creo View.

This is a very important feature for drawing collaboration and drawing distribution across the company.

This is Creo VIEW, not Creo Drafting. The whole purpose for the program is to VIEW models and drawings that already exist. The ability to create section cuts to see into an assembly and do measurements is fine, but how far do you take a program that was designed to VIEW objects. If PTC keeps adding functionality to this product, they will have to charge more as each change increases its value.

Creo View is THE interconnection between 3D engineering creation and 2D subsequent processing for all sorts of technical documentation. Sectioning and 2D export is not "drafting" but format conversion. This is the reason why Creo View MCAD should have that ability.
