Improve the DXF output from Creo View so that it can be used by sheet metal laser cutters

Currently using Creo View (7.1) I can open a sheet metal blank model (flat pattern), take a 2D section thru it, and Save the section as a 2D DXF. However, all circles and arcs are approximated (corded, see below).

Our laser cutter software will not import this type of geometry. This is trying to import into Radan (radan.com).

If this would work it would eliminate the arduous task of creating a Creo Parametric drawing, adding a view of the blank, and Save As a DXF simply to generate a laser cutter usable DXF. This would also enable the laser programmers to generate a usable DXF from any CAD tool blank that was published in Windchill.

Indeed. It would be great if Creo View could interprete  circles and arcs as real as Creo does.

Creo View is a viewer, not a CAD program. Please do not add functions that will bloat the software and make it do things it was not designed to do. Use Creo to create your flat patterns in DXF format.

I'm not sure where the "bloat" comes from? Today I can generate many different file formats from the "Viewer"

We are only asking for a higher quality output.

So you think a laser operator should learn Creo Parametric so they can create drawings for the flat pattern models and place a view of the blank just to get a 2d DXF file and use a Creo Parametric license just to do this?
