I am reviving this idea because the original was archived. We have the same need.
Would like the ability of Creo View to permanently watermark the PVZ viewables. This can either be embedding the current displayed watermark when the File -> Save As function is executed in the client or the ability to define a permanent watermark that is separate from the other watermarks (e.g. Copyright or Proprietary, ITAR notices)
Current functionality allows for watermarking the display in the client. When a PVZ is loaded it will show the appropriate watermark that is stored on the server side or client side preference. If a user then saves the PVZ to the hard drive and opens in a stand-a-lone client, the watermark will not be shown.
Use Case:
User wants to save a PVZ to the hard drive to email to a customer or supplier. Once that PVZ is opened outside of the Windchill environment want the watermark to persist.
