Re-allow to create callout templates with label referencing attributes but editable if necessary

Old versions of Creo Illustrate allowed to use Callout template with label referencing attribute, for example Windchill Attributes, but the labels were editable.

 

In new versions there is the mutual exclusion, or editable or referenced by attributes.

 

It's a regression.

Hi,  Yes this is necessary. I must have the possibility to change the label attributes. I can't understand why this function is not permitted on version 8 but permitted in a previous version.

In 9.1 ptc re-added the feature to enable the edit of callouts referencing attributes but only to add something,

Is not possible to replace it.

If the attribute is not setted there is:

"Warning: attribute not found"

 

If, at least, it was possible to empty this string we could add our text and not to see the warning + our text:
