Creo parametric extensions

The Creo Parametric software is multi-cad. Which extensions does it open natively?
Is there a document that shows this?

Hello Catalina, good morning!

As we are a master reseller, many customers ask us about this. They want to know which extensions Creo Parametric opens natively. I understand that they are not for all software, but I need to know what they are so that I can publish material about them!

If you have an installation of the program, you could just start it up and do a File->Open.

In the dialog that pops up go to the Type, and look at the list of options there. It lists a lot of different types of files like Catia, NX, etc.

I don't know how "native" these openings are, or if they are the equivalent of opening a STEP or IGES file.

I ask this here in the Community because some people don't want to go to the trouble of converting and, as we know, sometimes the model comes with an open surface and needs to be sewn. We have for example: Topsolid, SolidEdge, PowerShape... and they would like to know if Creo Parametric Design opens the models natively, without the need for conversion. That's why I opened this call... When customers call us, they ask this kind of question!!!

If you are a reseller then you should open a call with PTC support.  Posting here is not opening a call with support; this is a user supported community. The question you are asking should be answered in writing directly from PTC,

I understood... I wrote here in the Community because the number of people registered here is very large and I believed that someone could have gone through this situation... but I do it.
