Better late than never. I am still new to WFII and I am sure I don't know all the short-cuts so bear with me. If you see something familiar I am taking the liberty of cut & paste from some of the responses I received.
Curve>2 Projections: Rule 1. Both curves MUST be sketched. I tried using a composite of the curve(s) and it don't work. Rule 2. As far as I can see the first curve must already exist. After you sketch the second curve it will stay highlighted (red). Push and hold the Ctrl key and pick the first curve. Then EDIT>INTERSECT and presto, you have your "curve by intersection". (This will also work with two existing sketched curves.) I have not been able to use part edges. If anyone can help with this I'd appreciate it.
Composite Curve: Composite Curves are a little confusing in WF2. Select the curve you want to make a composite from and it will highlight in red. Then move your curser a bit and select it again and it will turn fat red. Then hold down the Ctrl key while you hit c then v. At that point you have a copy (composite) of your curve. There are drag handles at each end and you can right mouse click to other options. The dashboard allows you to toggle between Exact and Approximate. The "details" button still gives me trouble.
