Multi-level Indented BOM

Multi-level Indented BOM

I want to use Pro/Report to generate a multi-level indented BOM of an assembly (5 levels deep?). I was able to create a recursive BOM report of the complete assembly, so all subassemblies and subcomponents are included, but the table format implies all subassemblies, including their component parts / subassemblies, are all at the top level (i.e. "flat"). How can I show subcomponents under their respective subassemblies with indentation (and restarting the report index number for subcomponents)?

Multi-level Indented BOMAndrew,

I would also be interested in a summary of your findings. For the item in the table, is it possible to substitute letters for numbers (i.e. 01 -> A, 02 -> B, 03 -> C, etc.)? I have a client request using letters in place of numbers to identify each item in the BOM.
