We created several mapkeys to print to certain printers, then added a "Prints" menu through config.win to let users quickly pick these "default" prints.
A couple of users recently had Adobe Acrobat installed, which added 2 new printers (Adobe PDF and Adobe Color PDF) to their drop-down menu. Consequently, that rolled two printers, including at least one of the "mapkey" printers into the "More Printers" menu. As a result, some of the mapkeys don't work because the printer name doesn't appear on the 1st menu.
I added the config.pro option "cmdmgr_trail_output yes", which is supposed to make "trail file and mapkey output ... system instructions that are independent of user interface" and re-recorded the mapkeys, but it didn't fix the problem. Whether or not the mapkey works still depends on whether the printer appears in each user's 1st dialog box or the "More Printers" dialog box, despite the mapkey being recorded in a manner that is "independent of user interface".
How can I select the desired printer by mapkey in a manner which doesn't depend on the position of the printer names?
