I'm looking for a user of Pro/E who uses it to configure their products.
Using just standard functions like Pro/PROGRAM, Family Tables, Layouts,
etc.........Nothing fancy like Toolkit required at this stage.
I have a customer who makes fire & smoke curtains and is keen to start using
Pro/E to configure their generic design to fit each specific customer
application. Type in a few numbers at the front end, regen and voila - full
set of models and drawings.
They currently use AutoCAD and take 2/3 days to tediously redraw the product
for each new customer.
I've shown them how we can do this in Pro/E by using some mdels of their
own, but they just want to talk to real world user who can show them that
this has all been done before.
If you're willing to have a short phone call and have done something simialr
then please let me know. And the closer you are to the UK, the better.
