Well... I'm revealing my poor memory, but here goes.... First locate your ascii.src file. (Ours is in C:\ptc\wildfire2\text\usascii) Locate the ascii.fnt file (Ours is in c:\ptc\wildfire2\i486_nt\text\usascii\) Back these files up.
(For the following, replace c:\ptc\wildfire2 with your loadpoint.......) Open the files with an ASCII test editer such as Wordpad, Notepad, VI, etc....NOT MS WORD! Open with Wordpad and change the "I" section to look like this: "1" m 8, 16 d 8, 4 m 8, 16 <<< tick start d 5, 14 <<< tick end
Open with Wordpad and change the "I" section to look like this "I" m 8, 16 d 8, 4 m 6, 4 <<< bar start d 10, 4 <<< bar end m 6,16 <<< bar start d 10,16 <<< bar end
Then execute the following (we use a batch file): c:\ptc\wildfire2\i486_nt\obj\compile_font.exe c:\ptc\wildfire2\text\usascii\ascii.src c:\ptc\wildfire2\i486_nt\text\usascii\ascii.fnt
Good luck and I hope the PTC exploder "throbbing brain" out there can confirm these instruction!
