Re: toolkits digest: January 15, 2007

Hi,

We are using Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition for building x64
Pro/TOOLKIT DLLs.

The Windows Server 2003 Platform SDK also works as you mentioned, but,
Visual Studio 2005 has many other features, which you may like to use. It
has a better and secure C runtime libraries, new optimization techniques
etc. The drawback may be that you will need to use manifest based bindings
to your dlls.

Regards,
Himanshu Nayak
