Summary: How to assembly parts from various subdirectories?

Lots of replies received for this question. Fairly simple.

Assemble all parts from various subdirectories in a normal way. We just have
to add the location of subdirectory in the Option: 'Search_path'

This will ask pro/e to search the missing parts in these locations.
As many search_paths can be added in config.pro

One more way of doing the same thing is create a file named search.pro in
any directory. Then set the option 'search_path_file' pointing to this
search.pro file. This search.pro file will contain paths to all
subdirectories that we wish to look for.

Thanks to all who replied. special thanks to Chris Thompson who pointed that
name of directory should not contain any spaces in it since pro/e does not
recognize it. Mail is attached:
Hi Anurag,

Yes, it is possible to do this. Create a file called search.pro, and in
config.pro create a path to reference the search.pro file:
a.. search_path_file C:\PTC\search.pro

The search.pro should provide search paths to each directory containing the
subassemblies:

! Pro/E Basic Library

search_path C:\PTC\objlib\cot_clvs_pin
search_path C:\PTC\objlib\key
search_path C:\PTC\objlib\large_rivet
search_path C:\PTC\objlib\eng_part_lib\lock_wash
search_path C:\PTC\objlib\eng_part_lib\mach_scrw_nut
search_path C:\PTC\objlib\eng_part_lib\plain_wash

* Note: remove spaces from directory, a directory labeled XXXX YYY ZZZ can
appear as:
a.. XXXX-YYY-ZZZ
b.. XXXX_YYY_ZZZ
c.. Not: XXXX YYY ZZZ
If a directory has spaces, Pro/E is unable to read those spaces and cannot
read the directory. The same applies to part, assembly, and drawing names as
well.

Sincerely,

Chris Thompson
