With the Wizard the formatted hole info is only available in the note and
you can't (to my knowledge) modify the hole feature prior to inserting it
into a model. I do not believe the note can be shown as dual dim or with
tolerance.
We have used UDF's for threaded holes too. You can modify the diameter dim
to contain your full note information (e.g. &p12X @D x[1]&d14, v[1]&d13 X
x[1]&d15 [the funny characters are the dia, c'bore and depth symbols]). The
dims can be shown in the drawing and will show per the drawing settings
(dual, w/tol, etc.) and can be modified in the drawing.

Why create UDFs for something that is available as a wizard built in the
software?

Hello ProE guru's,
I am creating a UDF of our standard holes. My plan is to create a UDF
containing metric C'Bore, C'Sink, Tapped, and Drilled holes of all our
"standard" sizes that we use. My problem is with the Hole Note. Our
dimensioning standard dictates that we use Dual dimensioning, Plus/Minus
tolerance and Geometric tolerance to all dimensions. I can't get the dual
dim's and tolerances to show up on the hole notes. Is there a way I can
show the dual dimensions and tolerances and geometric tolerances in the hole
notes of the UDF's?
