"PLANE_CHILD" and PLANE_PARENT” not showing as Error in Creo 2.0 Modelcheck

Hi,

I am working on ModelCHECK and wanted to test 2 of the parameters("PLANE_CHILD" and PLANE_PARENT”) I was interested in-

I created DTM1 as a 0 inch offset of FRONT and DTM2 is a 0 inch offset of DTM1, I should get 1 PLANE_CHILD error for DTM2 and 2 PLANE_PARENT errors for DTM1 and DTM2, instead I get no errors-

As you can see above both the tests have passed. But according to definition they should have failed.

Please let me know if I am doing something wrong or interpreting definition wrongly.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad

What version of Creo?

What are your settings in the start and check files?

Hi Ben,

I am using CREO 2.0

Following are my settings in start file:

Following are my settings in check file:

UPDATE: I was able to figure out the issue with PLANE_CHILD, since the start file had DTM1, DTM2 and DTM3. I simply had to rename the Datums to get the error.

But still I am not getting the PLANE_PARENT error
