GPost gurus - I have a swarf milling seq like shown on the picture. In the seq. it runs fine, however on the machine it appears as though the rounds are being cut opposite (think G2 instead of G3) to the model. So, on the wax (yes, new machine, new post) the right side positive draft (that isn't being cut in the pic) cuts fine and the left side negative draft (shown with the toolpath) are correct. The issue is with the rounds only. Instead of the nice blend shown in the pic, they are concave into the part, not convex as shown. The machine has A (+15 to -105) and C (+/- alot) axis, it is a Fanuc 31i control. Something in the post (at least that's where I end up) is causing the miscalculation. Any ideas of where to look? Thanks, Dave. I guess it is more of a solution as opposed to a summary, I only had one response and it really wasn't a Pro issue it was a machine kinematics issue. I have a table/table 5 axis, A and C, and my primary part/cutting rotation was around the z axis. Paul suggested that I move the part so it wasn't oriented along the rotary - which I did and the part then machined well. - I'll chalk it up to lack of 5 axis experience on my part! Thanks - Dave.
