Thanks Patrick,
Since I have never actually ran the PTC install of Pro/E on my new
system, it would not explain why there are 100 cloned entries. I think
these entries are made either every time Pro/E is executed, OR every
time some unspecified event occurs in Pro/E.
I was able to remove the entries, quite by accident. I renamed the dll
to "OLDpfcscom.dll" to see what effect it would have and Pro/E seemed to
run fine. I then downloaded a trial version of "Registry Mechanic" and
when it ran, it identified ALL of the clone keys as invalid. This seemed
to be quite a happy accident, so I let it delete them all and then
renamed the dll back to "pfcscom.dll" just in case.
Thanks to all respondents
Andrew
