Extrude the top profile to the height of the bottom profile. When done make a cut using the diagonal height of the bottom profile.

The 3.00 dimension is unclear in the bottom view.

Do I get the points too?

Dale,

3 is the hidden line, which is the one edge of the chamfer.

Hello Jean Wandi

in generall there are many ways... l will show you one of them:

Generall modeling rule:

- more simply features are better than one complex (and complicated)

- use constrains instead of adding dimmensions in sketcher

- 3D model is "know-how" keeper --> all important dimmensions have to be included here --> 2D drawing IS ONLY DERIVATION of 3D model

1. General shape

2. Extrude - remove material

3. Chamfer edge

Done in 2 extrude features.

Extrude #1 in sketcher view before extrude.

Extrude #1 in model view after extrude (just to show how it is dimensioned from the sketch).

Extrude #2 in sketcher view before extrude
