Creating pdf by Pro/ENGINEER

Is it possible to make 2D or 3D pdf file by using Pro/ENGINEER. Actually i want to convert Pro/DRAFTING(*.drw) file to PDF(*.pdf) file.

Open drw file-save as copy-from pull down menu -choose pdf.Make a separate working directory-or folder to save pdf.Before saving pdf choose your working directory, then you can keep all pdf copies separate

Hey dear, Here is no any option in pull down menu of pro/E for save any file in format of (*.pdf).

Hello, I use CutePDF writer and it works fine for 2D PDF...

Hello Anand, what pro/e version are you using? Wf3.0 - 64 Bits does not allow to create pdf. WF 3.0 32 Bits, should do it easily, it has and pdf export module embedded as default.

We use PDF995, it installs as a printer and makes PDF's very nicely. I think you can buy it from the internet. Very cheap ($9.95) and works well.

Thanx for all, And could u tell how to make 3D-pdf file.

open the 3d part file < print Pint window pops up next to Destination attributes there is plus sign w/black arrow (+) click on it then it will expand the table select Generic color postscript Mark the To File option and unmark the To Printer option Hit OK Another window pops up with title Print the File. Keep the default selection mark which will be Create Single File. Next to Name there is browse button. Click on it and locate the path where you want to save your file. Once you hit ok.It will create the file with .PS extension.Select the .PS extension file and change into PDF. Done.
