More on transition to WF4 from WF2. ECAD

Hi Folks,
Another question for getting to implement WF4 at or work. (Actually two questions on the same subject).

For those of you who use ECAD output for getting PCBs designed you will be familiar with the ECAD menu from WF2 and/or WF4

It starts as Insert/Cosmetic/ECAD Area... then it is different from WF2 to WF4. (I just checked and this interface changed in WF3 however since we missed release that it only affects us now).

In WF2 the old pre wildfire menu popped up on the right and listed the options. We had added an extra menu line called "Hght Restrict" which is exactly equal to Place Keepout but is much easier to remember for occasional users. This addition was controlled in the menu_def.pro and I think we used this since R16.

With the ECAD dialogue box replacing the old style menus the menu_def.pro seems to no longer apply even though the WF4 Help still shows this just as it does for WF2 Help. Does anybody know of any ProE functionality to allow an extra line to be added to the drop down list in the new dialogue box?

Other functionality that was provided by the menu_def.pro was the ability to set a default choice and if we can't add a line then the commonly used default choice would be nice to set. However again this seems to not be available now. Does anybody know of any ProE functionality to allow a default choice from the drop down list in the new dialogue box?

Our VAR has suggested a mapkey but this is a hassle to maintain and also needs to be remembered by the same occasional user so it is really not a good solution.

Worst case it becomes retraining of users to use "Place Keepout" and updating cheat sheets for when they come to use the functionality; it just seems a backward step. Frequent users can make and remember their own mapkeys.
