PDF translators to a ProE format

HELP,

I have a customer logo in PDF form that I wish to make as a sketch in
ProE. I have tried many ways to do this but each time the sketch fails
as there are "too many entities" in the sketch. The best route would be
to convert the PDF to IGES and then "use edge" to make my sketch. We do
not seem to have a PDF/IGES translator. Is there such a thing?.... or is
there a better way of doing this? I think this question was asked
recently but no summary has been forthcoming. I promise to post one if
anyone can supply an answer.

I like to just go to this website and do it:

If you open the dxf as a part then it will become a datum curve and you can just use that part as your label part.

We use Rhino3D to import the PDF and export to IGES. Some PDF curves are
very heavy (lots of control points) and/or are made up of lots of tiny
segments, so we use Rhino3D to simplify the curves.

I believe that Adobe Illustrator can export DXF, so you can try that as
well.

I promised a summary for this particular problem and this is what I
have....(with names removed to protect the innocent)

There are pdf to dxf converters, like the one from Aidecad. A dxf can
be inserted into a blank drawing and saved as an iges.

Light" that will convert PDF to ACAD & then import the dwg or DXF into
sketcher.
