Dimension symbols

Dimension symbols

Question: I have a bolt and I want to do a table for it. Problem: I

programed the table “example &height:6” but in the drawing I want the

symbol for the dimension such as "Height" to be the only thing showing. I

do not want to see the actually dimension But if i put @s in the dimension

text instead of @d it puts the symbol name in my table instead of the

dimension. Thanks for any help you can give. John Wright

RE: Dimension symbols

Alright John,

This is privileged information and it does not work with shown dimensions.
Create a dimension and replace the @D with @O. Then type whatever you want.
Do not spread this around. Rookie users will try to fudge their drawings and
foul up everything once an IGES file gets sent somewhere. Consider yourself
among the advanced users now... this is graduation information. Smiley Happy
