I have a suggestion for PTC, if they are monitoring. First off, being able to route a cable and have all the pins correct and all that is great. Being able to flatten that same cable out to dimension on a drawing is also great. But lets finish the process off shall we. Let's have the ability to take that flattened cable and "assemble" it. I worked a contract at a Lockheed Martin manufacturing facility were all they did was create assembly fixtures for cables. I'm sure there are alot of other places that do the same. Job would have been alot easier if all I had to do was to bring the flattend cable into an assemly that I could position mating connectors, and any other assembly type hardware to a flat board for the assemblers to place and route the wiring on. Maybe someone has already suggested this but it has been on my chest for sometime and wanted to get it out there. Anyway, thanks for listening to my babbling.
