Multiple ass'y views on a drawing - Summary (wow that was fast)
I feel so dense (DUMB) sometimes. I knew it was extremely easy, only I haven't used it in quite a while (use it or loose it <g>).
As for the snapshot question: It's now called "Convert to draft entities" and is found under the EDIT menu. (Easy!)
As for the question about using family tables or drawing states: Family table instances were the way to go. Each instance has the assembly in a different position. It's done the same way as in version 2001, only how you get there is slightly different from before: The steps were: 1. RMB on the drawing sheet 2. Properties 3. Drawing Models 4. Add Model 5. Choose model from the list 6. Choose the family table instance (e.g. open or closed) 7. Choose a simplified rep (if any) 8. Place the view on the sheet.
Worked like a champ. Thanks.
Special thanks to: Bob at Parker and Erik at GWLISK for going the extra mile.
