Preset View settings

How do you determine the coordinate systems in 3d for preset view settings?

Where would you get this data within CREO?

AKA, Isometric preset views... I would like to know where I would get that information. Can someone assist?

The default start part and assembly from PTC do not come with any preset views. If you have a company standard start part/assy, you may have some preset view orientations defined.

The "textbook" isometric view would be accomplished by FIRST rotating V by 45 deg and then H by 35.264 deg. Save that as new view and you are all set.

I stole this from someone else and haven't done the actual math on it in years, but it looked right from what I remember. As always, you might want to verify this if you need or want an exact isometric view.
