Problem: overlapping 3d-views on drawings in a pdf

Has anyone found a solution for overlapping 3d-views on drawings in a
pdf?

The outline of a later 3d-view hides earlier 3d-views. This is what you
get with ProE WF4 M160 and earlier:

In NoHidden view there is no problem off course:

FYI see attached email for a similar question.

I love it when PTC says "Yeah, we meant it to do that." Really?

I'd ask to see the spec (I was told to do this by the head of tech
support at a user conference a few years ago whenever we get the canned
response of "intended functionality"). If they can produce a spec
showing that shaded views are intended to clip like that, you have to
live with it. If not, it's a bug and needs to be fixed. Of course, who
knows how long that would take, but it ought to be much faster than an
enhancement.

A work around is to make the view a partial view and draw clipping path around
the view. It doesn't seem to work all the time though and of course you must do
that and then create the PDF and see what the result is.
