Skeleton parameters and Copy Geoms

Good morning,

Skeletons are great for Top Down design, and are generally used to create
geometry references on which to hang components and/or which can be passed
into parts or sub-assemblies via Copy Geoms. What method are folks using to
copy skeleton parameter values into lower level sub-assemblies and/or parts?
We'll be using some Pro/Program, but you can't Execute parameter values from
a part (skeleton or otherwise) to another part. Plus, we'll likely have a
Family Table at the part level and you can't Execute parameter values into
multiple instances of the same Family Table...

Thanks in advance,

That is what a layout is for.

1. create parameters in layout
2. in your skeleton, part, or assembly declare the layout
3. you now have access to the "global" parameters of the layout via relations
* partDimensionOrParameter = layoutParameter
4. You can declare unlimited skeletons, parts, or assemblies to the same layout
