So I am trying to name a section in a drawing and I can only type symbols unless I hold shift which I can then type upper case letters. When I input an "A" it says illegal character entered and instead of a blinking thin cursor when typing, it is a thick black box. I have no clue what happened here. I tried creating a new drawing, but it does the same thing.

I just tested this on my drawing and if I clicked Ctrl+A, my cursor changed to a black box,instead of the blinking thin line. To get it back to the thin line click Ctrl+B.
