Summary: Carabiner (spring hook) model

I had some people requesting a model of a carabiner (not for climbing) as
well. It was created in SW2009 as a vendor part reference, and I can provide
a STEP export for Pro-E users who would like a copy.



The dimensions are close, but not exact as I used calipers to take
measurements, and the internal leaf spring is not modeled.

Hello Chris,

Could you send me a STEP export for Pro-E for this part? I am doing a project subjecting this to tensile loads for a class, and would love to estimate the failure location/regimes before testing several to failure, so that I can guess where to put strain gages. Let me know if this is possible.
