What I learned during this ordeal is that with Wildfire 4 and 5, you cannot control linewidths in pdfs if you don’t use a pentable file. Colored lines were so thick they were unusable. The pentable that ended up working for me was:
pen 1 thickness 0.005 in;
pen 2 thickness 0.001 in; color 0.0 0.0 0.0; SYSTEM_LETTER_COLOR
pen 3 thickness 0.001 in;
pen 4 thickness 0.001 in;
pen 5 thickness 0.005 in;
pen 6 thickness 0.001 in;
pen 7 thickness 0.001 in;
pen 8 thickness 0.001 in;
