I'm using Ansys to vary Creo dimensions for an optimization. My master part has an inheritance feature with one varied dimension. I've got a parameter in the master part that I use to exchange dimensions with Ansys. Then I've got a relation to pass that parameter value to the inheritance.
I happened to be watching the Creo message area while the Ansys optimization was running. Periodically, I'd see the message below about the varied item not being applied. It doesn't happen with every regeneration. I never saw it when I tested the relation to verify that it was working. I even did a measure to make sure the geometry actually changed. The extreme values of the optimization can be regenerated.
Varied item (d25 0.036500 -> 0.063000 xxxx-xxxx (Locked)) is not applied.
Any ideas what's causing this message and why it only happens sometimes?
