dual formats on a drawing?

dual formats on a drawing?

Here is an interesting one.

We have a set of drawings for a project which were done using our own drawing borders. However the client now wants their border on the drg. To prevent having to re-work the drawings to meet the clients drawing standards (was not an initial requirement!), we would like, if poss, to add the client border to the drawing as well, preferably pulling the parameters so that the whole drawing remains parametric.

We have tried using overlays but the source drawing gets scaled to meet the new sheet size. Is there any way to prevent this? if so then overlays would suit the purpose.

Otherwise any ideas gratefully accepted.

Dxf the client border into the drawing. Add it to a layer. Blank the format and turn the layer on when you want to print it out "client style".
