I'm trying to make some detail views for an assembly which I have.
I have not had trouble with creating detail views in the past.
However, today, every time I've sought to create a detail view, I select the center point without issue. Then, when I attempt to draw a spline to constrain the detail view, I repeatedly receive "Outline aborted, sketch again" as an error. I've tried dozens of times with different shaped splines, overlapping, not overlapping, and everytime it fails and gives me the same message.
Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening, how to resolve it, or how to work around it?
