Interactive selection of dimensions

We are relatively new to JLink, but experienced in Pro/Toolkit. We are creating an asynchonous JLink application in Creo 2 and need to have the user select a driving dimension. Although the user is currently working at an assembly level, the driving dimension they select could be attached to an assembly, part, or feature at any level of the tree.

Ideally, the user would select a part or feature and Creo would display all the driving dimensions used to create it. The user could then select one of those dimensions from the graphics area. If anyone has used the Tolerance Analysis Extension, we would like this to work in a very similar manner.

We cannot seem to find a way to display the driving dimensions on a selected part/feature in such a way that they are graphically selectable. We tried using the Show() member on a dimension object, but this is purely asthetic and not selectable.

Note: The dimensions to be selected are not necessarily annotations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind...we discovered an example in Toolkit and were able to find a corresponding function in JLink. We found the UIDisplayFeatureParams function on the Session object. It displays the dimensions in a seletable fashion.

Thanks for sharing the solution!
