hi guys and girls
i need some help in starting to make a model of a car design for uni. I need to choose a car and then design it in PRO E,
the car i have chosen is the bugatti veyron. However im not sure where to start from. I was thinking of using the trace sketch under style, and then using extrude (pad), however that doesnt seem very sensible as i would not be able to get the curves.................
Thanks

Hi Pravin,
Trace sketch-draw contures in horizontal, front, top planes. Also add few contures on certain crossections and then use boundary blend till you close outer shape of car. Then trim if needed and later merge those surfaces so you can solidify shape or use thicken instead.
Google for veyron schematic pics to use for trace sketch.
Here is sample of similar work done using trace sketch.
Hi Davor,
Is there a tutorial that i could see on making the blends when the tracing on, im fine with everything else you said its just that i dont know how draw the lines on the sketch once i have added the front, side and top images, including after i have done the sketching on the plane how do i go about using the bound blend.
appreciate help thanks
