Odd Transparent Display Issue

I'm having an odd display issue with transparent parts and a layer for
surfaces. If my surface layer is on, I get these odd zigzag patches on
my model. Turn the surface layer off, they go away.



There are no surfaces laying on the solid in this area which was my
first thought. Turn the transparency off or zoom in farther and they go
away as well.


Anyone seen this and fixed it?


I have a Dell T5500, Win7 64 Pro, Xeon E5630 (2.53 GHz) process, 6GB ram
and an nVidia Quadro FX 3800 driver version 191.75
