PTC should concentrate on improving surfacing in CREO

PTC should look at improving surfacing techniques in Creo. Something close to Surfacing powerhouses CATIA and UG nx.

Agreed.

I come to IDD to replace a surface edge, or to extract a UV curve from a surface, way too often.

What are your troubles with surfacing?

for example

1. able to select more than one curves in TRIM tool.

one could make complete interiors of a car with surfacing tools that comes in base package,it's just exhausting sometimes to use it,that is all.

only problem comes when topology optimized surfaces have to made with multipile layers.even there huge amount of control is given by pro/e as compared to siemens NX. i am not sure about CATIA.

moral of the story is pro/e is as good as other two cad packages infact better in terms of control, just very very exhausting.

never doubted the powerful surfacing capabailities...in proe...but as you said it is very exhaustive...

it is not very exhaustive in CATIA.
