It might depend on exactly what you are looking for here. In our case we have some key business standards or rules that are checked pragmatically before checking data into SAP PLM. For us MM verifies the 2D and 3D have matching part numbers, matching revisions, and that the drawing is fully up-to-date. If that criteria is met then the CAD data is passed to SAP PLM and subsequently locked in MM (via custom states). Not sure if that's close to anything you are looking for but is maybe an example. For us the verification step occurs durring the check-in process and can include just about any attribute verification we want. You just need to be sure what you want to verify is something that is or can be made into a MM attribute. We are using the SAP integration from Strategic Enterprises.
