I've done a lot surface merge and seems like they are OK, but when i'm trying to solidify quilt,Solidify Command is dim, meaning something wrong with my quilt, so can i check it out (how to) the quilt is close and ready to be solidified? Just like my case, i gotta redo all over again,God..... Thanks a million!
Visual inspection is the only way I've found to do this. The open edges are displayed in pink as default. When I'm having a hard time finding the openings, like when working with 'bad' imports and very tiny surfaces, I'll change the color to bright green or yellow. I sometimes work with a dark background too to make the color really pop out. VIEW>DISPLAY SETTINGS>SYSTEM COLORS It's still a very tedious, time consuming process. If anyone else has suggestions. I'd love to hear them! Also. You might try simply copying the entire quilt and then solidify this copy. I'm not sure why this works sometimes. I think the accuracy/rounding error may cover very tiny gaps. Good Luck.
