Round stopping at a datum point

Round stopping at a datum point

I am trying to create a round on a edge of a rail, that would transition
to stop at a datum point part of the way down that rail. This would
represent geometry where the round cutting tool stops.

I have the datum point in, and I push the transitions button, while in
the round command, but it is not allowing me to pick the datum point?

I am going about this the correct way? Am I missing something?

Are you hitting all these steps in your workflow?

1.select edge for round

2. click transitions button

3. select which part of the round you want to apply the transition to

4. change the transition type to "stop at reference"

5. pick your point or create it on the fly
