Good Morning all
I have an assembly (FRAME.ASM) with a part (FOOT.PRT) that I can't get rid of.
When I add the assembly to my workspace this part comes with it.
The part does not show up in the model tree.
It does show up in the reference viewer under dependencies with a RED X but I can't do anything with it with the right mouse click.

If I right click the in the reference viewer and go to INFO the response is:

Reference Type: Dependency
Used As: Substitute Membership

Referencing Solid: frame.ASM
Referencing Feature: Component id 74 (foot.PRT) Excluded

Referenced Solid: foot.PRT

Full Path: Component id 74 (foot.PRT) (Excluded) -> frame.ASM ->
foot.PRT

Can anyone shed some light on how I can get rid of this foot?

WF4 M092
Windchill PDMLink 9.0 M030

Thanks for your help

Yep - that was it.
I deleted the simplified rep where the part had been excluded -

"Where Used" in Windchill now says that the part is no longer used anywhere.

Great job!
Thanks Vinson!
