I am new with TWX so not sure if perhaps this is a common mistake but I installed and
configured TWX foundation server according to manual and is working fine, if I
simulate data within platform it works fine, but when trying to connect to external data via
KS, error "could not initialize secure socket connection" appears.
TWX Foundation in 9.1, KS 6.9, OS W2019 Server VM
Thanks a lot for your help

Check for a few things
is the appkey still valid, did it expire?
what account is associated with the appkey does it have enough rights to do the connections and transmit data (I know often Administrator is used, which is not a best practice but could help with eliminating this issue)
For resource it says /Thingworx try /Thingworx/WS
try using 127.0.0.1 vs. Localhost
I assume Thingworx/Tomcat is on port 8080 no certificate/no ssl
Could set the two 'trust' ones to Yes as something to try but it shouldn't impact anything.
Since it couldn't establish any connection most likely this isn't the issue but do you have an actual industrial connection thing in Thingworx named: 'IndustrialGateway'?
