Hi,
I have issues with thing properties bound to remote Kepware tags.
The Kepware tags are connected to OPC-UA endpoints and they all work and are updated as expected in the Quick OPC-UA client.
The Industrial Connection status is connected and the bound properties display as healthy. But when the Kepware values change, the properties are not updated. Refreshing the thing properties does nothing, but when I save the thing, then the values are updated.
The strange thing is this only happens on some bound tags and not all of them.
The applicationkey is created with the admin user for testing purposes right now.
Does anyone have similar experiences?
Regards JK
Solved! Go to Solution.
After changing the property setting "Cache Method" to "Fetch from remote every read", the values updates as expected.

Have you bound the same tag to multiple properties?
What are your advanced settings on the bindings? push/pull/expiration?
I think the problem appears when I pick tags originated from different plc:s in Kepware and assign them to properties in the same thing. But the selected tags are not bound to properties on any other things in Thingworx.
The values are set to be pushed on value change.
Hi @JK_9911985,
One way can be you are on the trial version which means without a license, after every 2 hours, the KepServerEx stops sending the data to Thingworx if there is no License, you need to restart it to resend the Values again.
It stops again after 2 hours since it is not licensed.
Thanks,
Hi, Kepware is licensed and I do not have to restart it.
You may have to file a Support case at support.ptc.com
It would be the same issue I described here; please check and let me know.
Sure that could be related, but I do have entries Performed==Queued.
Also I can see in the log the datachange, but refreshing the thing does not update the property values, only if I click save. Still datachange events do not trigger.
Hey @JK_9911985,
I would say, please check the subsystem I suggested because I have faced the same problem!
