what is the role of kepserverex?

I recently started browsing about kepserverex. I have few questions in my mind

first of all is kepserverex a opc client software or a opc server

and secondly when used with thingwork what would be architectural flow of the whole

would it be sensor->kepserverex->thingworx

any references on how can I use kepserverex with thingwork?

Hi Jugal,

KepserverEX it's a  OPC Client and a OPC Server, plus it has plenty of Plug-ins to communicate with different Industrial protocols ( BACNet, ModBus,.... )

And the communication flow it's how you said, but it's bidirectional, you can read data from sensor and through Kepserver send to ThingWorx and ThingWorx write data to the sensor.
