the connection requires a valid trust store, but the store is empty or invalid.

while configuring kepware to thingworx we are facing error "the connection requires a valid trust store, but the store is empty or invalid."

here is attached snap of property

I have checked application key is valid and having date of expire 2022 We have not configure SSL but still its throwing this error.

Hi @dpchavan.

 

It sounds like you're running SSL.  Here is an article that may help.

 

It may also be necessary to change the "Disable Encryption" flag to yes.

Hi Sharon,

  Thanks for reply but we have not installed thingworx on SSL .and its fixed authentication type with navigate so definately its not on SSL.

Hi Sharon, 

Thanks for this article I have tried mentioned approches in article but still facing same issue. Is any where in thingworx SSL setting i need to disable i have checked platform.json file but there is no such setting .In integration runtime settings.json having such option but it encrypted. Please help and again we have not establishing SSL connection.

Hi Dhananjay,

 

Please try setting disable encryption to 'Yes' . You  had set it to No as per the screenshot you had shared in initial post.
